Georgetown S.C.
It's still warm and there's still flies and mosquitoes. We have left Grand Dunes Marina North Myrtle Beach and travel south to Osprey Marina in south Myrtle Beach. We saw a lot of damage on the way down the canal. The dockhand in Osprey marina said it wasn't the wind it was the flooding five days after Mathew. Here are some pictures.
Moving on from South Myrtle Beach to Georgetown we were in luck! We arrived they were having the taste of the town. We arrived tied up the boat and ran into town. $20.00 for 23 tickets and most tastes were 3 tickets. So we filled up with some southern cooked samples. Ribs, Mexican, southern chicken and grits, chicken wings, pulled pork and many other stuff. We stayed for two days and the second day we were in luck again! All you can eat oyster roast for $20.00. This was not for Laurie and myself but everyone else had a great time. It was all you can eat oysters and if you want beer it was free but they asked for a donation of any amount. So they ran out of oysters In no time so when that happened the brought out all you can eat blue crabs. Every one had a great time. Here's the pictures to prove it.
Georgetown is a great small town so here are a few pictures from around town.
