After a 2 week vacation I arrived to work at CFB 3rd Battalion Support Base Edmonton. Upon my arrival driving through the city to pickup some keys I find the city is very clean and roads are wide and not busy. While I was waiting at Toronto airport I received a text by another tech to watch you speed while driving in Edmonton. This was the first thing I noticed. There were radar camera's everywhere and everyone was doing the speed limit. Monday morning I arrived finding that guys are NOT being treated good at all. The DND people on the base think it's ok to put or supplies and us in a sea container and have us work out of them in the heat and cold. It's not a very friendly environment. This isn't going to work when it gets real cold!

Here's some of the Heavy Armored equipment:

Also on base are a few helicopters.
The First day was a great drive. It's always good to get back in the mountains! Our second day we left about 9am. It was a little disappointing because we had fog. We couldn't stop to wait for the fog to burn off because we had planned to get to Cochran, The fog finally dissipated after 11am.
