It's been two years since we arrived home from St. Martin and we are thankful to be here.  I also am reflecting back to that time when we arrived home (Sept.11 2017) and we could not have done as well as we have with out the help of our friends Simon and Cheryl. They took us into there home and gave us a chance to make a fresh start. We were lucky, but this last week we have been watching hurricane Dorian devastate the Bahamas. Watching the video's coming from the Bahamas we realize that we may have a little PTSD. Talking about our experience seems to be good therapy but we both get a little teary eyed thinking about our experience. Although Irma had stronger winds the storm passed quickly compared to Dorian. We see on TV that the Bahamas will not have power or water for at least a year. These people need a lot of help for a long time. We hope the international community will step in quickly to help.
