Trying to keep positive!

The diesel repair guy showed up yesterday. He did a lot of looking around and testing wires. He says he has to talk to the dealer of the " Next Step Regulator" that seems to be a problem. So I'm supposed to call him on Tuesday to find out what's going to happen next. He also looked at the dripless stuffing box and could not fix that unless the boat was out of the water. So when we get the boat going then we can decide where we can go to lift the boat out to fix the stuffing box. THEN we will be on our way to the States. I was also having more problems with my inverter. I called Doug and he told me to shut it off for a half hour and the turn it back on. A REBOOT!. He says the maker will not tell you that. Well what do you know, it worked! That Doug is a smart guy! So now we just sit around in the heat and wait. Some friends of ours took us to dinner last night to try and cheer us up. We had a great dinner and lots of fun. Thanks Brian and Renata. We took a short walk today to the water front for an ice cream. This made Laurie very happy again. Gananoque is a very nice place.
